Advice on playing our DVDs

Our videos are supplied on DVD, and can be played on a DVD player connected to a television, or on any computer with a DVD drive.

If your computer has no DVD drive (like many of the new compact laptops) external drives are easily available to plug into a USB port, and cost very little.

Our DVDs are 'region-free', i.e. they should play anywhere in the world.

Most users have no problems playing our DVDs, but occasionally equipment is incompatible with one DVD format or another.  If a new DVD will not play in your equipment, please try it in a different player before assuming that the disc is faulty.

Resources on CD-rom

Where printable resources are included, we supply these on CD-rom and you are permitted to print unlimited copies for use with the DVDs. If you want us to supply ready printed copies, we will do so at extra cost (please enquire).

CD-roms should work in any computer with a suitable drive (but not, of course, in a DVD player attached to a television!).  When you insert the CD-rom it should automatically start your web browser and display a welcome page.

Most of the files on the CD-roms are in pdf format, and in some cases there are PowerPoint slide shows.  To view pdf files you need Adobe Acrobat Reader software.  In the unlikely event that this is not already on your computer, you can download the current version free of charge from http://www.adobe.com/uk/products/reader/

If a DVD or CD-rom stops working because it is damaged, we will usually replace it for a nominal charge.

Contact us if you have questions about any of the above.
